“Where you look affects how you feel”
You’ve done the talk therapy. You’ve read the self-help books. You’ve tried to “let it go.” But somehow, the pain, anxiety, or triggers still show up—sometimes when you least expect them. That’s because trauma isn’t just stored in your mind; it’s held in your body. And no amount of logic or willpower can override what’s been deeply wired into your nervous system.
That’s where Brainspotting comes in.
Brainspotting is a powerful, neuroscience-based therapy that helps you access and release unprocessed trauma, stress, and emotional blocks—without having to relive the pain over and over again. By using specific eye positions (or "brainspots") connected to where trauma is stored in the brain, this approach allows your body’s natural healing processes to take over. It’s not about rehashing the past; it’s about finally freeing yourself from it.
Trauma and emotional pain are often stored deep within the body and mind, beyond what words can fully express. Brainspotting (BSP) is a powerful, neuroscience-based approach that helps clients access and process unresolved experiences, allowing for deeper healing and transformation.
Discovered by Dr. David Grand in 2003, Brainspotting is based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel. By identifying specific eye positions—"brainspots"—that correlate with emotional or physical distress, this technique helps the brain release stored trauma, reduce distress, and strengthen resilience.
Brainspotting can be especially helpful for:
Unresolved Trauma & PTSD – Releasing what’s been stuck in your body for far too long.
Anxiety & Stress – Calming an overactive nervous system so you can breathe again.
Grief & Loss – Processing deep emotional pain without feeling consumed by it.
Performance Blocks – Overcoming mental roadblocks in work, sports, or creative pursuits.
Emotional Dysregulation – Finding balance when emotions feel overwhelming or shut down.
If traditional talk therapy hasn’t been enough, Brainspotting might be the missing piece. This is a gentle yet highly effective approach that helps you work through trauma and emotional struggles at a deeper, brain-body level—where true healing happens.
You don’t have to keep managing symptoms or pushing through the pain. You deserve to heal.
At this time, we are only offering Brainspotting sessions to clients who are actively engaged with a therapist. What we’ve observed is that after Brainspotting sessions, clients often return to their primary therapist with an enhanced capacity for deeper therapeutic work and self-processing. These sessions are designed to complement your individual or couples therapy, helping you move through emotional blocks and gain deeper insights.
